Performance

The main difference between our rotors and our competitor’s is the choice of drive unit. With a shaft mounted gear the load is limited to the weight and torque from the gearbox itself. The location of the motor offers the advantage that the service platform and noise reduction is simplified.

The bearings are rated at 100 000's of hours of continuous operation and the market leading sealing system has rubber seals and labyrinth seals lubricated separately. The rotor shaft has an outer diameter of not less than 406 mm which gives an extremely high torsion rigidity. Finally, the rotor blades are made of galvanized steel which provides mechanical wear without damaging the surface of the blades. Rotor blades are assembled with bolts for easy replacement.
